As the Founder and Managing Director of PharmNXT Biotech and PharmNXT Ekuse, he has played a pivotal role in establishing India’s first domestic manufacturing ecosystem for single-use biopharma systems, addressing critical supply chain challenges and reducing reliance on imports. Under his leadership, PharmNXT has pioneered end-to-end solutions for biologics and high-potent API manufacturing, empowering regional and global clients with efficient, cost-effective, and world-class technologies.

Ankush Kapoor is the Founder and CEO of PharmNXT Biotech and PharmNXT Ekuse, leading the company with over 20 years of extensive experience in sales and marketing within the biotechnology sector. Under his leadership, PharmNXT Biotech has emerged as a pioneering Mumbai-based firm that redefines technical selling through a solutions-oriented approach, providing comprehensive bioprocessing, research, process development, and manufacturing solutions to biopharma and life sciences customers across India and expanding into Southeast Asia and South Korea. He also heads PharmNXT Ekuse, a cutting-edge single-use manufacturing facility in Pune focused on producing innovative single-use and containment products such as 2D and 3D bags, mixers, and downstream hardware, supporting the integrated bioprocessing needs of biologics, gene therapy, ADCs, and high- potency APIs under the vision of “Make in India for the World.” His strong commercial acumen, strategic leadership, and commitment to innovation have positioned PharmNXT as a trusted partner in the evolving biopharma landscape.
Nandkumar Thakare

Nandkumar Thakare is an accomplished product and applications expert with nearly18 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, having worked with leading multinational companies. As Director – Technical at PharmNXT Biotech, he plays a key role in driving innovation and providing end-to-end bioprocessing solutions, including single-use technologies and hardware for downstream processing. Nandkumar is instrumental in addressing specific application challenges faced by scientists and pharmaceutical manufacturers, supporting both regional and global customers. Under his technical leadership, PharmNXT has established a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pune, delivering the Xelta range of single-use bioprocessing products and NXTmix levitating mixing solutions, furthering the company’s vision of “Make in India for the World”.
